Today marked the second amazing day where workshop participants were being trained in computer programming using scratch. Everyone was given headphones to enable them watch and listen to the "Social Media" videos. This Lesson plan includes Eight (8) classes/Lessons that participants have to learn in order to complete the course.
Two lessons including introduction and creating a profile page were covered yesterday. Four lessons that included "depict and deduce", "Pictogram", "Best quiz Ever" and "Style Board" have been covered today.
The remaining two "Viral Video" and "Time Lapse" will be covered tomorrow. Participants were also trained on how to create accounts for the Scratch and cs-first websites, these accounts help one to share a project designed using the offline version of scratch.
Some student was so happy to learn about scratch and programming, he stated that in his project he is going to design a Billboard as he has always wondered how the adverts keeps repeating themselves not knowing that it is just a Loop and some few set variables.
Other students were actually interested in using scratch to design Mobile applications as they believe that this will capture a wider audience.
We have also seen the teacher and their students learning and working together as colleagues, this was very exciting as students would think and share what they have learnt and what they wish to design as their projects.

We thank you so much for such a pedagogy to go programming.
