The 2015 computer Science for high school workshop is aimed at building programming skills, critical thinking and formation/ strengthening of Computer Science clubs in schools. Many students are very excited as they are able to develop projects that looked abstract before they were introduced to scratch. The workshop also aims at helping teachers improve the delivery of Computer Science education using various online Google tools for educators.

Mr. John Ziine presents about Computer Science clubs and the importance of working in groups for effective task completion. Other presenters included Mr. Robert Mugonza, Miss. Ajambo Kwoshaba Linda, Mr. Kimera Richard and Mr. Mwavu Rogers

It was an amazing experience as many of the female students admitted that they were so much inspired to see a lady teaching them "how to program using scratch". It also came as a surprise to many as one of the participants informed the team that she was one of the National ACIA award winners for the category "ICT Visionaries" that is organised annually by the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC).
Teacher and students discuss there project idea with one the workshop coordinators Miss. Ajambo Kwoshaba Linda

The teams continue to work together with teachers proceeding with the formation of their Computer Science Association that will include all the Computer teachers in western Uganda so as to help take the discipline to the next level.
